DEUTZ TTCD 7.8 engine was certified according to the Stage V environmental friendliness standards ahead of the Agritechnica exhibition in Hanover.
In September 2017, DEUTZ has already become the world's first engine manufacturer certified for the EU Stage V emission standard. At first it was TTCD 6.1, then TCD 3.6 and TCD 4.1.
The powerful DEUTZ TTCD 7.8 six-cylinder engine is ideal for heavy machinery and tractors thanks to its compact design and twin turbochargers. In addition, the structural oil sump functions as part of the chassis. TTCD 7.8 gives the maximum torque of 1565 Nm at 1500 rpm. Because the engine and the exhaust aftertreatment system are designed optimum performance of the system as a whole, they ensure minimum fuel consumption and minimize overall operating costs.
The transition from Stage IV to Stage V does not require additional space for the installation of engines, which avoids costly modifications of equipment. This allows our customers to confidently and flexibly introduce new engines into their vehicles.
