New ABB service partner in maintenance of turbochargers
ABB has granted Wärtsilä the Authorized Service Provider status for standard maintenance of ABB turbochargers installed with Wärtsilä 4-stroke engines. The company specializes in the production of ship power plants, power plants, screw mechanisms, ship control systems and other equipment. It owns 160 offices located in 70 countries.
Wärtsilä is known all over the world as a leader in the production of four-stroke medium-speed engines operating on diesel, gas and other fuels. Mostly, the engines are used on large cruise liners, tankers and container ships.
27,000 four-stroke Wärtsilä engines are equipped with ABB turbochargers.
Becoming a service partner for the maintenance of ABB turbochargers, the company has expanded its ability to provide services throughout the entire life cycle of the equipment.
